Burman & Fellows Group was first formed as W.J
Burman Electric in 1977
by Jon Burman who has a strong family heritage in the electrical
industry. Both Jon’s father and grandfather were electrical contractors,
with his grandfather being registered as an electrical contractor in
1917.
A good friend of Jon’s, Malcolm
Fellows, was a major supporter and contributor to the company in it’s
early development.
After Malcolm passed away, the company name was changed to recognize
both his and all of the employees great contribution.
The
Mal Fellows fund was established in his honour as a vehicle to support
our mission statement of a
commitment to give back a
portion of our good fortune to those who are less fortunate.
The
intertwined BF represents and honours the relationships between our company,
customers, suppliers, employees and the community.
We acknowledge God as the ultimate director of our company. In all ways we acknowledge Him and He directs our path.
